Most cities, big and small, are in a war against drugs.
Not a day goes by without being reminded about this fact. We see and know firsthand about the problems. Many of us lived them.
We understand the causes of drug-related crime and violence and the neglect of families and children by caregivers who are strung out on drugs. We see the war and the devastation in our work places and in our neighborhoods and in our homes.
Our concept of drugs include all mood and mind altering substances, including alcohol. If people are addicted, we are concerned and we can help.
